Solomon 6:3

Do you belong to Jesus? Have you truly put your trust in Him? If so, remember that your confidence is not in any man! For your Commander in Chief can not be voted out, kicked out, or cheated out. In fact, they couldn’t even murder Him out of supremacy!

His position will never be taken. He is all powerful, invincible, compassionate, and merciful. He is wise, strong, gracious, and constant. He was with you all day today, and he’ll walk with you tomorrow. So you fall asleep tonight and rest – “that daddy threw me up in the air and I’ll laugh my way down in excitement because I know he’s going to catch me” kind of rest. You are not forgotten. He’s got you right in the palm of His hands.

So… when things get scary and the “what ifs” start to creep in, just listen to His gentle voice, “You’re safe with me, because you are my beloved and I am yours”.
